It’s been a few months since Marina, a creative young lady passionate about design, decided to give German classes on Zeduki. “Teaching was a way to keep a strong connection with my mother tongue and rediscover it through my students’ eyes,” Marina explains.
Thanks to Zeduki, Marina can also discover many other cultures: she can teach to students from all around the world. Marina says: “I give online courses to people from six different countries, with different points of view and reflections related to their own culture. The way they learn online and how they understand the language are different and I have to adapt accordingly.”
If you ask Marina why so many people are willing to learn German, the reasons are varied but the most common one is their job. “My students want to boost their careers by developing new language skills while others simply want to emigrate to Germany.” It is true that with more than 100,000 French people living across the Rhine, Germany is an attractive neighbour for many of them.
Of course, there are also many people interested in “less professional topics” such as culture, food, literature and even philosophy, while others simply want to be able to communicate with their in-laws. Therefore they can make mistakes and train as many times as necessary on Zeduki! Marina confirms, practise the language is more than essential.
And Zeduki’s advantage is that everything is done comfortably from the bottom of your sofa! What’s better than learning, making new friends and discovering a new culture without going out on a rainy day? Marina is convinced that e-learning allows to better focus and to avoid the inconvenience of transportation, schedules and registration.
E-learning has a bright future ahead!
